'Indulgence' is my final year university project, focusing on imaginative Food Photography. The essence of the project is to capture exaggerated indulgence through a commercial lens. Keeping with my vibrant commercial style, I wanted to create captivating food imagery in a creative advertising style.

Artist Statement
My current project is a creative food photography project that showcases vibrant, free-standing images of food. The central theme of this project revolves around indulgence, captured in a commercial style.

With a background in the commercial photography industry, I aim to capture food from a dynamic perspective, suitable for advertising purposes. The influence of the Pop Art movement is prominent in my work, with vibrant, complementary colours that have become a staple of my style.

This series focuses on creating visual representations of sweet and indulgent foods, presenting them in a way that embraces our shared indulgent tendencies, sometimes to outrageous levels. I strive to photograph these foods in an aesthetic, and playful style.

The photographs are designed to beautifully highlight the intricate details of each selected food item, enhancing their often-overlooked aesthetic qualities. The food appears to 'float' against harmonious colour backgrounds, further highlighting the influence of Pop Art and the commercial desire behind the images.
